Venue

The workshop will be held on the Triolet campus of the University of Montpellier. The campus is easily accessible by tramway from the city centre (~ 25 min):
- Line 5 (green), stop at Pôle Chimie, Balard (recommended).
- Line 1 (blue), stop at Saint Éloi.

Morning sessions, dedicated to talks, will be held in the Amphithéâtre de Physique, in building 20.

Afternoon sessions, dedicated to discussions, tutorials, and hack sessions, will be held in the Salle des Séminaires LUPM/L2C, on the fourth floor of building 13.

Catering will be provided for the lunch breaks near the workshop venue. 

Closure dinner

We shall invite all of you to a closure dinner on the evening of the last day (Friday the 5th of June) — so that no one would have a talk on the following day. Thus, we encourage you to stay until Saturday morning if you can.

Coming to Montpellier

By plane

Montpellier Méditerrannée Airport (MPL) is mostly connected to European cities. From the airport, you may reach the city centre using the airport shuttle (line 620, costs 2€) which will bring you to the tramway stop Place de l'Europe.

If you are travelling from a non-European city, your flight is likely to lead you to Paris, which is very well connected to Montpellier by high-speed train (TGV inOUI or OUIGo). The trip takes about 3h30.

You may also consider the nearby airports of Nîmes, Marseille and Lyon, which are all well connected to Montpellier by train.

By train

Montpellier has two train stations:
- Montpellier Saint-Roch is located right in the city centre;
- Montpellier Sud de France is about 30min away from the city centre by public transportation (tramway line 1).

Accommodation

We recommend to stay in the city centre (Écusson) so as to maximally enjoy the charm of our city. Please book your accommodation as soon as possible, as many events tend to take place in spring.
